Get inspired! I know today I’m very inspired. Why? Because I am finally getting that much needed rest, and many other things that help me maintain my success. I would say the best thing about all of this is that I am feeling much better and I’m getting organized which goes a LONG WAY. Getting organized, where do I start? I have to say it all started with Erin Condren.
Now, I cannot afford to just go out and buy an Erin Condren planner. They actually start at a whopping $50.00! So, I had to take a trip to Walmart and buy a little StudioC planner (http://shopstudioc.com) for only $7.00 and that’s where the fun began. Then, I fell into the planner sticker zone and when a little nuts. Thank goodness for Ebay, you can binge on sticker purchases for $0.77, but they are imported from china. 6 sticker sheets for $0.77 is 20 times better than paying $2.00-$4.00 per set on Etsy. Now when I get a little more money, and my digital sales start to take off again so I don’t actually have to worry about money, I’ll go ahead and buy more.
Since I’m a graphic designer, I hold a ton of stock photo memberships and I was able to put my download quota to some good use. I can download many inspirational quote images per day, and so long as I create the sticker sheets for free, I can make as many as I’d like. So happy with this, I’ve decided to go ahead and do this. Also, Etsy has some awesome clipart, and so long as I don’t exceed over 1,000 sales on most, and only deliver in a flattened pdf file, I can resell the cliparts in sticker sheets that I create. I’ll be doing that as well.
I ended up making my own additional planner by hand, which I am in love with, but MUST HIDE FROM SOPHIE AT ALL TIMES, she likes to destroy (or so called help me out) with my planners because she can see how much I adore them.
Planning has helped me so much, I actually kept a planner on me back in 2013, but stopped, because I got pregnant in 2014, and many other things. Now I am remembering just how much I was able to get done by planning things out.
Today, I have to work at 8pm-1am, but I already have my day mapped out with Sophie. One thing she loves to do is help out. So, today, she’s going to help me clean the house, starting with the living room. I’ll take pics of my progress and post them today. My before and after. I cannot wait to get organized. Tomorrow, I will work on my bedroom, and the next room, and the next room.
There’s only one dreaded thing to do on my planner and that’s talk to my boss at my part time job. I’m the late night person on my crew, and that mean’s I’m just there to help out at night while the works that actually close get their prep work done. In my interview, I told my boss I only wanted part-time working 24 hours, but she has managed to stretch that into 5 days. It’s annoying. So it’s not really part time if you are working 5 days a week. I will have to leave her a note to remind her that I am also a full time web designer and mother as we discussed, and I only want to work part-time and to please keep my hours at 24 & under. I’m not sure if that is going to go well, because they are obviously having a shortage of employee issues and no one seems to be running up to this job for employment. I hope that changes soon now that school is starting up. More moms will be looking for some side gigs just to have some extra money in their pockets (the same thing I’m doing). 🙂
Okay, here today’s free printable. It’s another lovely inspirational sticker sheet for your planner and Erin Condren planners (that I cannot afford lol). I’m going to make a Amazon.com wishlist and see what people buy me ha ha!.
The printable is 300dpi and in PDF format which is perfect for printing. All you need to do is print and cut.
