Another day, another Halloween Themed Printable. Still a little tired and busy this week, so this post will be short, and boy am I glad things will be wrapping up soon. Spending more time with Sophie is my number one priority so I’m happy to be doing that. I’m working on my Happy Planner, which I will post soon pictures once I get a moment.
Okay, so here is your free printable. It’s a PDF in 300dpi. All you need to do is print and cut.
Hope you enjoy!

From my previous post a few days ago, I mentioned this has been quite a nightmare for me. Thankfully, I have restored a few accounts. I have just regained access back to my PayPal account and refunds have been sent or in the process of being sent. I have uploaded the documents to Gmail and they are processing my password request change. It’s looking very good on that end.
Skype, I think that may be a goner, but I’m actively working with Skype to get my account restored.
Needless to say, I have been in contact with all clients and work will resume Saturday, July 30, 2016. I am almost 100% back in business.
I do want to apologize humbly from the bottom of my heart of this entire debacle and I am so happy to have almost all of my accounts restored.
May this be a lesson not only for myself but for the massess. When hiring someone always create a separate password for them. Never use the password you always use. You just can’t trust anyone online these days. 🙂
Back to publishing my free printable. I’ll be going back from the last time I posted through today. 🙂

Apparently, My freelancer.com woes are not over. If you remember my blog post about freelancer.com and the suspension, (click the link here) After constant harassment on social media platforms, they finally looked into the issue.
Long and behold, that freelancer’s account was suddenly closed and I was refunded in full. Looks like after looking into the issue I wasn’t lying at all about this freelancer logging into my freelancer account, releasing payment, then giving himself excellent feedback on my behalf.
How did this freelancer get my password?
Once simple mistake. I used the same password for a WordPress login that I provided him which was my personal password that I used for everything. That freelancer took advantage of that and started trying to log into everything.
I made efforts to try and change my passwords everywhere I could, but it was too late. This freelancer had gone on a rampage, hacking my Gmail this morning as well as my Skype. I no longer have access to my skype or any of my 100+ contacts that I have been working to build for the past six years. My PayPal has been hacked twice to the point where they have figured out how to actually log in from a Michigan location and pull funds from my account.
I have nearly lost my VPS server. They have hacked that as well and I just spent over an hour with my hosting company trying to get it back.
I am DEVASTATED! I had two clients who had paid me for jobs (I don’t spend the money until the work is done) and all that money is gone, wasted on some miscellaneous crap on ebay. I don’t even shop on ebay. Needless to say, PayPal has pulled those charges, but I have to of course WAIT FOREVER to get them all back.
I feel like I’m done with this business. I’m so sick and tired of the crap that comes with working online. I’m going to do my best to finish up these jobs, regain my accounts back, and try to move on from this, but just to let you know.
Don’t ever share a password you normally use with anyone. That unethical freelancer on Freelancer.com has taught me a very hard lesson and has possibly cost me my reputation and my business.
This is my fault I know it. I should have never trusted anyone with a password so personal to me. However, in my six years of business, this has NEVER happened to me before. I suppose there is a first time for everything.
Now I have to put a security freeze on all my credit reports and only god knows what else.
Now, to go and see what else has been hacked.
To all the clients that it may seem like I am ignoring. I’m doing what I can to pull your info from PayPal to make contact with all of you, and I’m very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Update: Looks like I’ve lost my fiverr and origin account. This is going to be a long week. 🙁

I’m going through a terrible situation with Freelancer.com. These people do not care about their customers who come there to spend their hard earned money. They just want to charge your card and could care less about anything else. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I had reported some issues with a Freelancer who had logged into my account, released payment, and then left 5 star feedback. I received a notification email from freelancer that I logged in from a different location and contacted them about it.
While I got a refund, they ultimately suspended my account and sent me this canned reason why.
Thank you for contacting Freelancer.com Support.
We regret to hear that your account may have been compromised. To avoid any further unauthorized access, we have temporarily suspended your account. Kindly re-format your PCs or run an anti-virus scan to remove all suspicious malware. I ran my computer for viruses as they instructed and nothing came up. NOTHING. So basically, they took it upon themselves to put the blame on me and suspend my account. I was floored by this. I went to twitter and facebook and let them know that if they have not resolved this or at least provided me my money back that I will be issuing a chargeback.
Then they responded with these questions:
Thank you for mailing us back.
Your response has been taken note of. To resolve the situation and avoid any further unauthorized access, your account has been suspended and limited by Freelancer.com Administration. The password has been reset as well for your account’s security.
To move forward with the reinstatement of your account, kindly answer the following security questions:
1. When was the account created?
2. What was the verification code sent to you to verify your email address when you created the account?
3. What was the last phone number used to phone verify your account?
4. What is the complete address registered on your account?
5. What was your last authorized transaction on the account?
Once you have provided the appropriate answers, you will be directed to the Verification Center to complete the verification process.
We look forward to your understanding and cooperation.
What was the verification code sent to your to verify your email address when you created the account? If I have not laughed so hard I don’t know what I would do. This account is over six years old. How could I possibly have this information anymore? Do you see the tactics this company just used to hold my money hostage. Needless to say, I’ll be filing a chargeback Monday morning. This company is AWFUL!
Now a measly $25.88 for header design may seem like nothing, but at the end of the day what this company is doing is STEALING and I will not have it. I will get my money back I could care less about my account with this company. Freelancer.Com is SCAMMING THEIR CUSTOMERS!

So much has happened over the last week. First, my precious laptop died. My motherboard died out and they want to charge me more than it’s worth to repair. So, I told the Geek Squad at Best Buy to pull the hard drive and make it external. Still waiting for them to get back to me. Files are confirmed to be there, thank God, but Geek Squad is so backed up I have to wait days just to get a backup lol. My ebooks and stories are all on that hard drive so I’m stuck waiting. Thankfully, I have print copies of everything. The bad side is the anxiety of waiting to get my files back. I’ve learned a big lesson. BACK UP EVERYTHING 3 times lol. In the cloud, on an external, and then another external.
So, while I’m waiting I’m checking out Freelancer.com. I never gave the site a chance, but I’m thinking about doing it now. I made so much money on Elance/Upwork that I’m really itching to see what Freelancer can offer me.
I’m also launching my YouTube Channel today, called JenSimmer. I just found out that I can’t have a custom link until I reach 100 subs. Oh I’m so bummed about that, but oh well I’m definitely going to figure something out. I purchased Action Mirrillis, and Fraps last night, so I’m looking forward to making my let’s plays. Still there is much to do, but I see where I can get enough subs fast so I can make a custom YouTube link to my channel.
Now, it’s time to shop for a new laptop and computer. May the fun begin. Will update in a few days once I get everything sorted. 🙂
It’s official. I’ve made the decision to leave the Upwork platform, it’s just not for me. I did merge over from Elance, and landed a few jobs, but I just cannot handle starting from scratch. There’s one thing Upwork has more than Elance and any other platform: Low balling job offers. Unfortunately, I cannot work 5-6 hour jobs for $5.00. Not only that, once escrow is released, I have to wait an additional 6 days to get my money. I’m sure as time goes, Upwork will become a better platform and then I may just consider returning. Until then, no no no no no! It’s not for me. I’m leaving my profile up so that others can view my references, but you will not find me there. I don’t even sign into Upwork anymore.
The best way to reach me is here on my blog. I’ve updated my packages as well. You can also find me. Check the footer of this page for my skype information.
I’ve been relying on a platform to gain clients for far too long. It’s time for me to stop being afraid and start a new chapter, gaining clients myself. Not only will I make more money, but I’ll be able to take charge of my life, not restricted to the policies of Elance and Upwork. This is my journey as a Freelancer who has worked on both platforms since April 2011. I will blog about my progress.
I’ve finally opened up the Hire Me section on my site, where you can purchase packages of my services. I’m currently using invoicing through Freshbooks, accepting Paypal payments and credit card payments.
I’m also stream on twitch. I’ll probably be offline from twitch for about a week or so, only due to upgrading my computer so that I can stream better. Working on screen cast tutorials to help drive more traffic here as well. I’m excited about taking this new leap and I hope those who are interested in working from home are able to take notes and apply them to their own journey.
